TNDALU admission 2024 will begin in May 2024. The application form for the 5-year LLB course will be released in the last week of May 2024 tentatively. Admission for the same is likely to begin from June 2024. The merit list will also be released in June 2024 tentatively. TNDALU application form 2024 for 3-year LLB and LLM will be released in July 2024 and September 2024 respectively.
Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University was established in the year 1997 by the Government of Tamil Nadu under the Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University Act, 1996. It is a public state university which is situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. TNDALU is named after Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar (an Indian jurist, social reformer, and architect of the Constitution of India). The university was inaugurated on September 20, 1997 by K.R. Narayanan. TNDALU Chennai has been recognised by UGC and approved by the Bar Council of India. It has been accredited by NAAC. It is also associated with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the Association of Commonwealth Universities, UK and the Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi
The TNDALU Chennai courses are offered to interested candidates at all certificate, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. There are a total of 26 courses offered to students in the stream of law to interested candidates. All the courses at the university are offered in offline, regular mode to the students. The TNDALU Chennai admission to all the UG, PG and certificate courses are offered on the basis of the merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam. For admission to the integrated UG courses, candidates must have to pass class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks. To become eligible for an LLM course, candidates must have an LLB degree from a recognised university.
The TNDALU Chennai campus is spread over an area of 4.2 acres and offers students a variety of facilities such as a gymnasium, boys' and girls' hostels, laboratories, a sports complex, transportation services, banking services, a full-fledged library, a canteen, and more. The college also has a dedicated placement cell to carry out placement-related activities. To give students the chance to start their careers before even finishing their studies, the TNDALU Chennai placement cell along with the participating recruiters conducts placement drives every year. The college hosts many events, including training sessions, pre-placement interviews, webinars and seminars, among others, and has a history of providing candidates with 100% placement data over the years. As per the NIRF 2024 report, 530 UG students and 85 LLM students were placed in the TNDALU Chennai placement drive. An average salary package of Rs 6.5 Lakhs per annum was made available to UG (3-year) and UG (5-year) students. The average salary package offered to LLM students was Rs 8.5 Lakhs per annum.

TNDALU Courses and Admission 2025
For TNDALU Chennai admission to the UG courses, applicants will be chosen for all UG courses based on their qualifying examination scores. The qualifying exam must be passed with a minimum score of 60% for general applicants and 55% for SC/ST/NRI candidates in order to be considered for admission to an undergraduate programme at TNDALU Chennai. The minimum qualifying exam score necessary is 60% for SC/ST applicants and 70% for general candidates in order to get TNDALU Chennai admission in integrated courses.
The scores received on the qualifying exam are used to determine Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University Chennai LLM admission. Applicants must have earned a minimum of 45% on a three- or five-year law undergraduate degree in order to be eligible.
Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University Application Process 2024
For TNDALU admissions, the application process is completely online. Candidates are required to follow the below-mentioned steps for the complete TNDALU application process:
- The TNDALU registration form can be submitted in person or via mail.
- Applicants sending the form by mail must include a requisition letter mentioning the course to which they wish to apply, as well as the required fee, to the Registrar or any Indian Bank branch.
- The challan is available for download from the TNDALU Chennai official website. Fees paid in cash, demand draft, money order, cheque, or bank pay order will not be accepted.
- Students can also apply online by visiting the official website and clicking on the online admission link.
- Students must register as new candidates and log in using their new username and password.
- They have to choose a degree, pay online, and then carefully fill out the TNDALU application form and submit it.

TNDALU Placements
A dedicated training and placement department of the university oversees the TNDALU placement process for students. Students are also provided training programmes on personality development and communication skills to aid in their preparation for TNDALU placements. The institute makes sure that it can help the majority of students get hired by various businesses by helping them in whatever way possible. TNDALU Chennai also provides practice/mock exams and classes on aptitude, quantitative ability, logical reasoning, and other related topics to aid students in their preparation for the final interview and written exam.

TNDALU Cutoff 2024 will be released by Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University itself at the time of admission in June 2024 tentatively. The cutoff rank will be released for each programme separately.
